Terms of Service.

Effective March 2026. Accounts, API usage, open-source components, intellectual property, limitation of liability.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Primust, Inc. ("Primust," "we," "us," or "our"), including the website, APIs, dashboard, and related tools (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Description of service

Primust provides governance proof infrastructure. Our Services enable organizations to produce Verifiable Process Execution Credentials (VPECs) — cryptographically signed proofs that governance checks ran on specific data. The Services include the signing API, the dashboard, documentation, and associated tooling.

VPECs are credentials, not certifications. A VPEC proves that specified checks executed and produced specific outputs. It does not guarantee the correctness or completeness of the underlying governance policy.

Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

API usage

Access to the Primust API is subject to rate limits and usage quotas as described in your plan. You agree not to exceed your allocated usage, attempt to circumvent rate limits, or use the API in a manner that degrades the service for other users.

API keys are confidential. You are responsible for securing your API keys and must not share them publicly. Compromised keys should be rotated immediately via the dashboard.

Open source components

Certain components of the Primust ecosystem are released under the Apache License 2.0, including primust-verify (the offline VPEC verifier) and related open-source SDK and check-integration tooling.

These components are governed by their respective open source licenses, not these Terms. Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under those licenses. Verification of VPECs is and will remain free.

Intellectual property

Primust retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all intellectual property rights. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use Primust's trademarks, trade names, or logos without prior written consent.

You retain all rights to your data, governance policies, and check configurations. Primust does not claim ownership of content you submit through the Services. As described in our Privacy Policy, only Poseidon2 commitment hashes reach our signing infrastructure — never raw data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Primust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Primust's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Primust in the twelve months preceding the claim.

VPECs prove that checks executed. They do not constitute legal, compliance, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for the design and adequacy of your governance policies.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Previously issued VPECs remain independently verifiable — they do not depend on your account status or on Primust's continued operation.

Governing law

Governing law and dispute venue will be specified in the applicable written agreement. Where no separate agreement applies, disputes will be handled under applicable law.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
