# Primust: full product description ## Category and value Primust is the agentic clearinghouse. It gives consequential AI-agent actions a neutral clearance layer between the agent's claim and the next decision that depends on it. An agent may say that it issued a refund, placed an order, merged code, changed cloud infrastructure, or updated a business record. Primust checks the action against the sealed authority and a fresh record from the destination system where authorized access exists. The result is settled into signed, portable evidence that can be verified offline without trusting the agent, the customer dashboard, or Primust's database. The value is finality for downstream work: the next person, workflow, or agent receives a result with explicit evidence strength and named gaps instead of re-verifying the action from scratch. ## The four clearance questions 1. Scope — what the agent was allowed to do. 2. Prompt — what the agent was asked to do. 3. Statement — what the agent said it did. 4. Outcome — what the authoritative record shows actually happened. The buyer-facing questions map to the technical evidence chain: Scope Authorization -> Control Receipts -> Runtime Evidence -> Outcome Binding -> Governed-Execution Credential -> Evidence Pack -> Offline Verifier. The Chain Verifier reads the four answers back, produces PASS, PARTIAL, or FAIL, and labels each answer by how independently it was confirmed. Missing evidence remains a named gap and is never silently converted into success. ## Evidence model Primust separates three kinds of evidence: - Agent statement: the agent's own account of what it did. - Submitted evidence: receipts, signatures, and logs supplied to the verifier. - Independent outcome reconciliation: a fresh read from the authoritative destination record under authorized, read-only access. Cryptographic integrity does not by itself prove that an action happened. It proves that a specific record was signed and has not changed. Outcome reconciliation adds the system-of-record check needed to compare the claim with the observed result. ## Payments and refunds Payments Action Clearance checks mandate limits and payment-rail records while remaining read-only and non-custodial. The Stripe verifier runs in live mode with a restricted, customer-controlled read key rather than a broad live credential. It can issue signed, publicly resolvable clearances. Charge and refund reconciliation is validated end to end, including divergence detection. Plaid production record reads are proven. A real Base USDC transfer has been independently confirmed from the public chain without an operator-held key. Primust does not hold funds, initiate transfers, issue refunds, store broad live credentials, or guarantee settlement. Money movement alone does not prove that the customer received the promised commercial outcome. ## Trading and treasury Trading Action Clearance keeps execution, clearing acceptance, novation, custody settlement, and remediation as separate states. The first live-proven rail is read-only broker access: a signed mandate joined to a fresh Alpaca order re-query through the customer's client order ID, with no order routing or write access. The full institutional post-trade connector chain across clearing members, CCPs, OMS, IBOR, and custodians is not presented as shipped. Primust never routes orders or holds securities, assets, funds, margin, or private keys. ## Coding agents Coding-agent clearance checks the session against the repository and delivery systems. Evidence can include declared scope, files changed, pull request state, scanner results, CI outcome, deployment state, and rollback information. Fresh GitHub API reads can independently confirm repository and pull-request outcomes. A PR check can publish the clearance where engineering teams already work. ## General AI agents The same clearance primitive applies across tools, cloud systems, business records, and data systems. Each use case changes the authority, destination, finality, and recovery witnesses. The signed Action Clearance remains the same. Independent outcome reconciliation is live on specific surfaces, not universal. When no independent destination receipt exists, the Outcome remains the agent's statement and is labeled accordingly. ## Content and privacy boundary Content stays with the customer; proof travels. Primust does not need raw prompts, raw outputs, code contents, secrets, PHI, PII, or customer content to issue verifier-readable evidence. Customer tools retain raw events. Primust receives commitments, hashes, pointers, allowlisted metadata, and verification results, then binds those records into portable proof. ## What a credential does not prove A Primust credential proves the governed record: what was authorized, which controls ran, what evidence was observed, what gaps remained, and what outcome the chain was bound to. It does not certify that an AI output is true, safe, lawful, compliant, causally explained, or fit for purpose. Primust does not replace customer controls, SIEM, GRC, IAM, CI/CD, scanners, logs, or human review. ## Delivery surfaces Supported public delivery language includes: - GitHub Action and pull-request gating. - Generic-webhook SIEM events with allowlisted fields. - CI/CD gates wired through customer workflows. - Evidence Packs. - Offline-verifier results. - Webhooks and exports.
